Andrea Claire’s extensive fine arts and architecture background, fine-tuned during stints working for Frank Gehry, Vito Acconci, and Rockwell Group, informs the sleek, highly detailed range of lighting she crafts in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Making use of sculptural hand-blown glass shapes, her creations embody Japanese reverence for negative space while evoking the unmistakable contours of Calder and Brancusi.
