Care & Maintenance
ROUTINE MAINTENENCE-
Never use cleaning products on metal, porcelain, paper or bamboo surfaces.
Use only a feather duster or similar.
If something should fall inside the shade, carefully remove the shade as shown in our installation videos (see our website for videos) and turn upside down to remove.
Be careful not to twist the sockets when taking the shades on or off. Hold the socket with your thumb when installing and un-installing the shades to prevent wires from twisting.
PORCELAIN FIXTURES- To remove fingerprints from metal or Porcelain, use water on a soft cloth and gently rub the area.
BAMBOO OR HANJI FIXTURES- Do not put pressure on 4 sides or bottom of Bamboo or Hanji surfaces: to handle bamboo and hanji shades only touch the top surface of the shape, the side with the holes cut out for bulbs and air.
Metal
Standard finishes are shown.
Additionally, we can provide powder coating in any of the RAL color, or other metal finishes if you have a sample to match.
Nickel and Etched finishes are special order. Etched and Etched & Patina are special “Claire Concepts” one of a kind finishes.
We work closely with designers to explore what will work perfectly for their projects by utilizing 3D models, full scale mock-ups, studio visits, and finished samples. We will develop the design until it is exactly what the space needs. Have a question?
