INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER or ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE in Los Angeles Studio- March 2019
Intermediate level - You will work directly with our founder and creative director to develop and execute new products and new designs. With our kit of parts systems the successful candidate will also draw and test in full scale site specific designs. Material research, testing, model making, sample making, and brain-storming is often required. Tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information is required. Non disclosure agreement is necessary.
Candidate must have expert-level skills in Rhino modeling and rendering, with the ability to integrate our objects into the architectural plans of our clients. Ability to generate 3D models from 2D architectural plans is necessary. Ability to create various shapes and volumes is required. Fluency in AutoCad is required. High level of proficiency is also required for Solidworks, excell, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign.
We combine both old-school craft and digital technology- fluency in both is necessary.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE in Los Angeles Studio- March 2019
We are looking for an organized and self-directed Personal Assistant to join our growing design studio. As a personal assistant, you will help with a variety of management tasks such as scheduling, organizing, filing, and facilitating work. You will be asked to deliver and pick up items from local vendors, and deal with in-coming and out-going shipping needs.
Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent computer and administrative skills- experience creating and managing excel spreadsheets, creating documents with Indesign and Microsoft word.
Tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and excel
Passion for design, drive to profrm at a high level, and excellent work ethic
Love of small dogs

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE in Los Angeles Studio- March 2019
For full-time employment- We are seeking an entry or mid level artist, woodworker, or designer who likes to wear many hats. You must like getting your hands dirty as well as being organized and know your way around a computer.
The successful candidate will be personable and able to establish good working relationships with our suppliers, and fabrication associates, as well as seek out new vendors and fabricators when necessary. You will organize production schedules, and manage production targets.
You will manage and order materials, and parts for fabrication, as well as organize the shop, and maintain tools. Knowledge tools, hardware, metal and wood finishes and materials, production pipelines, and BOM diagrams, is necessary.
Knowledge of Rhino, AutoCad, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and excel is required.
You must be be passionate about design, have drive, excellent work ethic, and excellent organizational as well as verbal skills. Must love small dogs.
